1975 Thunderbird custom built convertible. This is a completely stock 1975 T-bird coupe that was transformed into a convertible by a professional conversion shop in Stuart, Florida in 1975 when this car was brand new.

The top mechanism, at time of conversion, was a new 1972 or 73 Ford Mustang top assembly, new from Ford, that works flawlessly. This big bird has all the power options that were available on this car when it was new including the 460V8. There aren't many of these around anymore and most have gone to collectors. The conversion company in Florida specialized in transforming Thunderbird coupes and Lincoln town car coupes into fabulous rag tops. Remember this, convertible production by the big 3 was winding down on big rides in the mid 70's with Cadillac stopping in 1976 with the Eldorado. Pontiac, Olds, Chevy and Buick stopped in 1975. Have you ever seen one of these?  For Sale at $12,950.

1957 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller from NZ . This RHD beauty is over 50 years old and is in fantastic condition. This is a 2 owner woody, the first owner until 1994 and the second owner until I bought it from him a few months ago.

The gent I bought this classic woody from had it inspected by the LTSA, the New Zealand Land Transport Safety Administration and it passed with no problem. The LTSA test is called a Warrant of Fitness and every part of the vehicle is scrutinized and this means mechanically and everything else on or in the car including rust spots, cracked glass, etc. This is a nice original woody that is the same year as my wife, 1957!

For Sale at $11,950 OBO.

This car was first registered new in Sunderland, England May 1 1970.  It was laid up by the first owner in his barn in 1980. There it remained until it was bought in October 1995 by an enthusiast in South Wales who restored the car, completing it in 2000. This restoration included new panels (sheet metal) and chassis members underneath and complete new rear wood frame.  It is structurally perfect and in excellent condition underneath. All the wood is  in excellent condition.  The carpets and rear hardura are new and there are new inertia-reel seatbelts in the front.  All five wheels are fitted with nearly new radial-ply tires and the headlamps have had halogen units fitted. For Sale now at $22,950 OBO.

1970 Morris Minor Traveler.  1 lady owner from when it was 6 months old and it has been stored in a garage all its life, but used everyday until 2003 when the lady stopped driving. It has been looked after by 2 local Morris garages for the past 33 years and has loads and loads of history (documentation) as proof to all the work that was carried out over the years. It has had a repaint and has had some needed welding over the years but it has all been done right and the 89,000 miles is genuine. It comes with original bill of sale from Phoenix Motor Company in Sutton, England. It drives excellent and has got new wheel cylinders, handbrake cable, exhaust, battery and 12 months mot(UK inspection). The interior is good, with no rips and the wood was re furbished  in the 90's. It is not concourse but a very nice drivable traveler with extensive history. Viewing by appointment, please. This woody is a daily driver that is sure to turn heads everywhere you go including car shows!  For Sale now at $12,950 OBO.

1971 Morris 1000 traveler First registered on 8th January 1971 so, by the time you
see this, it will be 36 years old. If you have ever considered a Morris Traveler, either to use, or as an investment, then you must take time to consider this one. It is restored and is beautiful. Having had over $18,000 lavished on it in 1998, and only driven nine thousand miles since, it is still in like new condition. It needs nothing. This woody was the subject of a full ground up restoration by Charles Ware (The Morris Minor guru in the UK). It has also received some very sensible upgrades.

Please come and inspect this woody if you can. The woodwork is in absolutely superb condition, the paintwork is excellent.
This is not a concourse example that can never be used, this is a car that you will want to use regularly. Please come have a look and a test drive (by appointment, please).

Bodywork:
Metal:
The Snowberry White paintwork is superb. All four wings(fenders) are steel. There is no rust visible anywhere on the bodywork or chassis. There are no odd colors and every panel is straight and clean. There may be a tiny chip or scratch if you really want to be critical, but this is a daily driver. Overall the metalwork is excellent and the paint finish over the whole car is superb.

The underside, floor, chassis, sills, etc., are excellent. If you lift the carpets you will find new floors. The sills, inner and outer, cross members, spring hangers, chassis legs, boot floor, wings, inner and outer, etc. etc, are excellent. There are no unsightly repairs, and everything is as it should be, the whole underside has been professionally sealed with wax oil under seal. You really should come and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. The engine compartment is sound and clean as is this entire classic woody wagon.

Chrome:
Exceptional all round.

Woodwork:
Near perfect. Completely renewed in 1998 and hardly used since. The grain is fantastic, all the joints are perfect and the finish is just great. Obviously no soft spots inside, or out. The color naturally contrasts with the coachwork and interior.

Interior:
Lovely. All black with recent carpets and door cards. The drivers seat cushion has a few small snags but it is full and comfortable.; The dashboard, headlining, and all other trim is excellent. A very nice removable face Sony stereo is fitted and can be removed leaving no trace, if you prefer. The cargo compartment is all new and looks superb.

Mechanics:
This woody has not been neglected in any way. It has been regularly serviced and has never suffered from a lack of maintenance. It will start and run beautifully and go anywhere you want. Within the last 10,000 miles it has been treated to virtually everything. To list it all would read like a Haynes manual. The main points are, Complete engine overhaul with unleaded head installed Full brake system renewal including servo assistance. Rebuilt gearbox. New full clutch. recon axle and hubs. Alternator conversion. Heated rear windows. Electric washers. Anti sway bar. Poly prop suspension bushes. Inertia reel seat belts. This woody drives, and stops, brilliantly. Come and see for yourself!

Summary: 36 years old and beautiful. Just look at it! Have a look around at other Travelers and, if you are serious, you will buy this one. This woody will increase in value over the years and, as the Morris Traveler has such a huge following, worldwide, parts will always be in demand, and therefore easily available. I think this car is one of the best investments (and the most fun), in the classic car scene today.  As previously stated, this is not a concourse example, although the looks are stunning! It has been in use continually, maintained regularly and kept in the best condition possible for its age. This woody is ready to use every day and show whenever possible.
For Sale now at $22,950 OBO.

Here is a super clean Morris Minor, one year older than I am.  This 1951 split windshield beauty has a sweet running flat head 4 cyl. and 4-speed.  You have to look long and hard to find one this old and this nice.  For sale at$6950

This must be a late 1951 because, in late 1951 the headlights were moved from the grill (Lowlight) up onto the tops of the front fenders so these cars could pass US safety standards to be imported into the USA  for the 1952 model year. This classic has 109,000 miles showing and that could be correct considering what great condition this beauty is in!

This 57 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible was bought new by Harry & Jean Gindhart on February 7, 1957 at Fort Sumter Chevrolet in Charleston, SC. The salesman was Bill Breedlove, who is now in his 80's and still selling Chevrolets at Rick Hendrick Chevy in Charleston. The Gindharts moved in across the street from my family in 1962 when I was 11 years old. I grew up with this car. We still live across the street from each other to this day. They watched me grow up (a term I use loosely) and they have watched my kids grow up. This was their family car until the late 70's. They were kind enough to allow me to have the car in 1981 provided I would "fix it up" and "never get rid of it". 20 years later I finally kept the first part of the bargain. Ron McMahan spent hundreds of hours on this car. He has done quite a few 55-56-57 Chevys over the years and his expertise was a blessing. Tommy Ross of Ross' Auto Painting spent a bunch of time on this project as well. He has a special talent that few body men have these days. My only job was to supply the money, supply the money and supply more money for the project. The car was redone in its original green and looks better than the way it did 49 years ago when it rolled off the showrom floor. Sorry, but this is  my KEEPER and I will hand it down to my daughter,Allison.

It is obvious we have too much time on our hands. Who in their right mind would camo a Jeep 100% & when I say 100% I mean 100%. This is a 1975 Jeep CJ5 bought from the State of South Carolina 10 years ago. It was one of 2 bought with consecutive serial numbers. They were issued new to the SCARNG (SC Army Reserve National Guard). It spent its whole life on "The Hill"(Ft. Jackson) in rust-free Columbia, SC. We disassembled the Jeep leaving the tub and engine on the frame. Next it was steamed-cleaned thoroughly. We put the Jeep on the lift and started underneath and on the engine. We worked our way to the outside and then the inside, where Bendt Brothers/556 3013 did the custom camo seat covers. You will not find one piece of this Jeep, drive train included, that hasn't been camo'd. We found camo upholstery vinyl and had the original seat pattern duplicated (not cheap!). What started as a joke became a serious and expensive project. Fortunately Gracie, our new Lab, approves and can't wait to cruise the bird fields and duck blinds. $18,500 $eighteen thousand five hundred dollars

Owning one wasn't enough, Bill Butt had to go out & find a 2nd one.
